What Is A Commission?

Commission Process

A seamless, collaborative experience from concept to final delivery. 

Step 1. Discovery Consultation

• Inquire below.
• We will set up a call to discuss your vision, the space, preferred colors, and the city or geography you want to feature. 
• If you decide to move forward with the commission, a $500 non-refundable deposit is required for me to start working. That will be deducted from the final total cost.

Step 2. Design Proposal

• Once the deposit is paid we will work together to discuss options that outline aesthetic direction, textures, and structure.
• A final design and color choices will be approved by you before I start working.

Step 3. Artwork Creation - This Process takes 6-8 weeks. 

• I handcraft your custom map artwork, incorporating your feedback and refining the design through one included revision round.
• Any additional revisions will incur added fees. 

Step 4. Delivery & Production

• You purchase the finished piece as a digital file in my Commissions Shop and receive your final high-resolution artwork via email, ready for printing.
• Print production and framing services are available upon request and for an additional cost. 

Step 5. Installation Photos (optional but appreciated!)

If installed in a public or professionally designed space, I love receiving project photos to showcase your finished artwork.
