ArtBeat 2016 Re-Cap
Hey Everybody! I wanted to send out a big THANK YOU to everyone who came out to support our booth at the annual ARTBEAT festival in Davis Square. This year we had beautiful weather- a little on the hot side, but no rain!
The fair was packed. We had a steady stream of customers, and everyone seemed really happy to be out and about on such a nice day. We always love this particular event- it is a prime location-Davis Square is jam packed with artists and small businesses so it is a very good fit with the local merchants. Also, because the event only happens once a year, it draws a large crowd of art lovers (yay).
We had a few NEW items this year. We are introducing our merchandise by having a pretty nice selection of greeting cards for sale. This is great for those of you who are looking for something funky, but don't want to carry around a large piece of artwork.
We also had a special box of gallery wrapped prints from the Commemorative Collection- these maps are of cities outside of Boston, and are inspired by the life of my brother who traveled all around the US to play hockey.
Finally, we had some larger gallery wrapped prints of Boston neighborhoods- the Back Bay, Davis Square, Cape Cod, etc.
This was our first outdoor market for the season and we had a blast. Look for us throughout the summer at a few other local artist markets, including Ink Block, the Boston Arts Festival and a few others!
