"Lowell" A Horizontal Giclee Print. This is an abstract map of Lowell- the Merrimack River cuts across horizonally towards the top of the image and the map includes the neighborhood south of the river, up to Nesmith Street on the right and Walker Street on the left.
Inspired by my time spent in this funky little Massachusetts city; this piece was created in bright hues of yellow and a salmon pink, contrasted by the cool blue of the grays and blues. The color palette of this piece was chosen based off one of my earliest trips to Lowell. One of my first memories of this city is seeing all the old textile mills, made of brick. Some left reddish/pink, some painted white, some gray, and some a creamy yellow color. I hope that this print will brighten up your day.
