"Dorchester" A Horizontal Giclee Print. This is an abstract map of Dorchester- showing most of the neighborhood along the coast, directly south of Boston. The UMASS Peninsula is at the top right and Squantum Point is at the bottom right.
The section of Boston, just south of the city, is called Dorchester and is one of the most vibrant areas of the city. Like a lot of the Boston area, the streets make NO SENSE. As a way to capture that feeling of somewhat frenzied driving, this piece was made in a loosely drawn way. But, the calm blue and orange colors combined with the warm creamy tones balance out the frenzied feeling with a sense of calm. This piece looks great in bedrooms or above your couch.
