Milwaukee WI

This print shows the Midwestern City, along Lake Michigan. It includes the areas in between Downer Woods (at the top) and Bay View (at the bottom) and parts of West Milwaukee on the left. This piece is cool and soothing, just like Wisconsin springs. Purples, pinks and peach are set against gray and tan for a relaxing colorful blend. The pastel hues in this piece were inspired by the blooms of the first hints of spring. You can almost see the crocuses and lilac trees in this poetic, soft scene.
